2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 Prototype

It is clear the future of the automotive world is all electric.  Thus, Mercedes-Benz has introduced their first ever all electric prototype, the 2020 EQC 400. In the video below, Jay Leno gives us an exclusive first look at the all new Mercedes-Benz EQC. This vehicle is a duel engine, all wheel drive, sport SUV. It delivers an impressive 402 horsepower with 564 lb-ft of torque with the ability to charge from 10%-80% in only 40 minutes.

When it came to exterior, Mercedes-Benz was sure to keep the appearance of the EQC 400 as contemporary and sleek as Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts have come to expect.  The outer grille and headlamps are combined with modern black panels and LED intelligent lights. The interior is completed with rose-gold accents, complimenting the modernistic details of the exterior. While the automotive world transitions into all all electric era, Mercedes-Benz plans to not only follow precedence but set standards for the electric vehicle. They plan to offer electric capabilities within 130 models come 2022. They also plan to have 10 fully electric models in addition to the EQC also by 2022.
