What are the New Features of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz G-Class?

Vehicles in the G-Class range have a sterling reputation for safety. They have airbags and curtaining deployed in key interior positions, as well as a range of autonomous emergency braking pre-sets, depending on the driver’s profile. Lane assists, blind-spot monitors and various alerts are also present and efficient.

The G-Class has been one of the last Mercedes-Benz lines to receive the manufacturer’s proprietary MBUX Infotainment system, a suite of touchscreen tech that revolutionizes the driving experience. The system features a standard 12.3” display with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 15-speaker Burmester audio system.

A few years back, the G-Class line received a design update. This included the addition of side exit exhausts, updated grilles, fenders, and head and tail lamps, which all contribute to a stunning package of good looks. The G-Class has always held icon status in terms of design, and the 2024 model continues to maintain that status.

The G-Class continues to show the incredible results of German engineering. Powered with a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine and nine-speed automatic transmission, the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class wields an impressive 416 horsepower and 450 pound-ft of torque.

  • Mercedes-Benz has suggested significant performance improvements for the G-Class, although these are unconfirmed.
